Mage of Inconvenience by Parker Foye5/20/2023 ![]() When these two meet it’s only logical and obvious that they can each help each other out because there’s no way feelings might develop or a bond might form if they pretend to be fiancés. The only thing is, she’s put a clause in her will stating he must marry within a tight timeframe or her estate goes to the next living relative because of course it does. He’s got an awful secret though, and the only way to rectify a big mistake is to properly inherit his recently deceased mother’s estate to get at a special spell that will negate his wrongdoing. Then you have Julian, who hides behind a well deserved arrogance, being a powerful mage. ![]() First, you have West, a werewolf on the run wanting nothing of his father’s pack and traditional harsh ways and would rather go it alone with the threat of dire consequences if found, than be stuck in a life that he couldn’t respect. In all honesty, there were many things that I liked. ![]() Toss in a fake lovers trope and plenty of insecurity, doubt, and longing with secrets on both sides, and this should’ve been a DSP Beyond slam dunk. ![]() If you like a paranormal set up with a werewolf and magic and all sorts, then this absolutely should fit the bill. ![]()
